BHP Billiton Aluminium

Alumar Der Alumar Schmelzofen(Au-Hütte) liegt im Nordwesten von Brasilien im Distrikt von Maranhão. BHP Billiton stellt im Jahr 170,000 Mt her, sie sind überwiegend für den Export nach Übersee bestimmt. Alumar kann auch, nach Bedarf, die Anforderungen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft (EG) für Barren erfüllen. BHP Billiton exportiert über 25,000 Mt Aluminiumguß, hauptsächlich für europäische und nordamerikanische Hersteller für Aluminium Räder nach Europas AlSi7, AlSi9 und AlSi11 - Normen, auch mit Sr möglich. Wichtig, alle Legierungen können als Barren oder Massel geliefert werden. zurück BHP	Alumar The Alumar smelter is situated in the northwest of Brazil in the state of Maranhão. BHP Billiton's share of the production is 170,000 Mt per year, which is mainly destined for export overseas. Alumar can also produce European Community (EC) grade ingots, upon request. BHP Billiton exports over 25,000 Mt of foundry alloy from Alumar, supplying mainly European and North American producers of aluminium wheels. European AlSi7, AlSi9, AlSi11 specs, either non-modified or Sr modified. Importantly, the alloys can be supplied in ingot and sow format. back BHP
Valesul  Der Valesul Schmelzofen (Hütte) liegt in Brasilien im Bezirk Rio. Es ist Nahe der Industriezentren von Rio und Sao Paolo und kann dadurch den heimischen Markt bedienen. Daher wird nur ein kleiner Teil der Produktion auf Bedarf exportiert. Valesul hat sich auf die Produktion von billet (Knüppel) und Gußlegierungen spezialisiert, beides aus Primär Aluminium der Schmelzöfen und durch Schrott von Stranggußprodukten. Mit einer derzeitigen Kapazität von 90,000 Mt will Valesul seine Gießkapazität mittels Schrott erhöhen. zurück BHP	Valesul The Valesul smelter is located in the state of Rio in Brazil. Its proximity to Brazil's main industrial areas of Rio and Sao Paolo make it well suited to supplying the domestic market. Hence only a small part of the production is exported on an ad-hoc basis. Valesul focuses on the production of billet and foundry alloys both from primary aluminium out of the smelter and through the processing of extrusion scrap. With an original capacity of 90,000 Mt, Valesul is in the process of expanding the casthouse capacity and output through the processing of scrap. back BHP
Hillside Beide, Hillside und Bayside, liegen am Richards Bay, ungefähr 150 Kilometer nördlich von Dubai, Südafrika. Die Hillside Hütte gehört voll zu BHP Billiton. Die meisten Produkte sind für den Export vorgesehen und haben eine Produktionskapazität von 500,000 Mt erreicht. Pläne, die Kapazität auf 750,000Mt (das Hillside III Projekt) machen gute Fortschritte. Hillside liegt auf Grund seiner geographischen Lage ideal um den Markt in Europa, Asien und Nordamerika zu versorgen zurück BHP	Hillside Both the Hillside and the Bayside smelters are located in Richards Bay, about 150 kilometres north of Durban, South Africa. The Hillside smelter is wholly owned and operated by BHP Billiton, with most of its product destined for export and has since reached production levels of over 500,000 Mt. Plans to expand this capacity to over 750,000 Mt (the Hillside III project) are well advanced. Hillside is perfectly located to supply the European, Asian and North American markets, due to its geographic positioning. back BHP
Bayside Die Bayside Hütte in Richards Bay, Südafrika, hat die Produktion auf die folgenden wertvollen Produkte konzentriert: Draht, Stangen, beide für Stromleiter und Desoxidation Anwendungen Strangguß Knüppel Gußlegierungen Walzplatten Bayside versorgt hauptsächlich die Südafrikanische Halbzeuge Produktion. Bis 1,000Mt pro Monat werden Draht, Stangen geringere Mengen Knüppel exportiert. zurück BHP	Bayside The Bayside smelter in Richards Bay, South Africa, specialises in the production of the following value-added products: Wire rod, both for conductor and de-oxidation applications. Extrusion billet. Foundry alloy. Rolling slab. Bayside has supplied and driven the South African semi-fabricating industry for some time, with current production predominantly destined to the domestic market. Up to 1,000 Mt per month of wire rod and spot quantities of billet are exported back BHP
Mozal BHP Billiton ist der Hauptaktionär von Mozal und hat die 75% der Vermarktungsrechte . Die Hütte, gebaut auf dem 140 Hektar großen Gelände nahe Maputo im Süden von Mozambique, begann im Mai 1998 und erreichte im Juni 2000 250,000 Mt. Mozal Barren werden zumeist ausschließlich nach Europa exportiert. zurück BHP	Mozal BHP Billiton is the main shareholder of Mozal and has marketing rights to 75% of the total output.. Construction on the 140-hectare site near Maputo in Southern Mozambique started in May 1998 and first metal of the 250,000 Mt per year smelter was poured in June 2000. Handel Der jährlicher Umsatz mit an Verbraucher gelieferten Material beträgt 300,000 Mt. Metall, von dritter Seite, ergänzt die Produktion. Ein Eckpunkt dazu ist die Vereinbarung mit der Nordural Hütte in Grundartangi an der Westküste von Island. Die Nordural Hütte, ein Unternehmen von Columbia Ventures Corp. mit 60,000-Mt pro Jahr arbeitet seit Juni 1998. zurück BHP	Trading The annual turnover of traded material delivered to consumers is well in excess of 300,000 Mt. Metal is sourced from third parties to complement our production. A cornerstone of the trading activities is the tolling agreement with the Nordural smelter, located at Grundartangi on the west coast of Iceland. Nordural, a subsidiary of Columbia Ventures Corp., is a 60,000-Mt-per-year smelter operating since June 1998. back BHP
